Open Gift Card Studio, build a design with your colors and wording, then publish it. People gift what looks like you - not a generic e-card. Keep a holiday design next to an always-on studio credit without mixing the art.

Selling happens on the website

Add a gift cards page to the same site that takes bookings. Visitors pay online with the processor you already connected. No separate Shopify, no printed stock you have to mail. Balances live in Hacado so redemption at the chair is a lookup, not a spreadsheet.

Operations that survive Saturday

Track sold cards, remaining value, and redemptions. Uninstall is blocked while purchases still need a ledger - that is on purpose. Talk to your accountant about tax and expiry copy for where you operate; the product keeps the numbers, you keep the policy.

Which plan includes gift cards?

Solo and Studio. Free is for getting bookings live.

Do I design the card in Hacado?

Yes. Gift Card Studio is a visual designer in your admin - layouts, copy, and amounts - not a downloadable template you edit elsewhere.

Where do people buy them?

On your Hacado website. Add a gift cards page (or block) so the purchase stays on your domain or subdomain.

Which payment methods work?

Whatever you connected: Stripe, Square, or PayPal. Connect at least one before you sell.

Can I sell more than one design?

Yes. Holiday, birthday, and standard credit can each have their own look and amounts.

What if someone buys for a friend?

Checkout can send the card to another email. The recipient redeems it against appointments the same way.

Can I still sell a card in person?

Yes. Issue and record the sale in admin when someone pays at the desk, then the balance is in the same ledger.
